Whether it is one of our short weekend trips to one of our two week sorties, or maybe even a summer in the Mountains, any day camping, is better than a day at Home:)

NEXT TRIP- December 26, 2012 - February 24, 2013- Chickamauga and Lookout Mountain Battlefields (Visitor Centers), Georgia. Cynthia is again volunteering for the time frame listed. She will also be within a few minutes of her family, halfway in between them.

We are looking at going to Cades Cove in the Great Smoaky Mountains for the time after the Battlefields, until Cynthia is heading back to Chattanooga, TN. for the birth of Stephanie & Nevilles new daughter, about March 15th.

We will be in Hixson for this time (about 2-4 weeks) NW Chattanooga, and will be camping on Chickamagua Lake.

Tentatively,  after this time frame, we will be heading to North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, then up to Indianapolis for a week or so at Justin and Lindy's. We will be staying at an RV Park about 10 miles NE of Fishers, IN.

Due to Jessica's Graduation in August 2013, we will be making sure we are back in Tyler for a short duration.

The Graduation makes a return to State Forst State Park, Walden Colorado this summer in not likely. SFSP is one of the most beautiful locations we have visited! 

We have made a steady progression up the camping ladder over the years, lol!

We first started by Tent Camping for many, many years. The beautiful mornings watching the new day come to life, out the door of the tent was a great expierence!

As our age caught up with us, we progressed up the chain  a little higher and purchased a Pop- Up Camper! We drug that Old Coleman PU many, many miles all the way up through the Rocky Mountains and back.

After a few years pulling the Old PU, we bought a Brand New Travel Trailer in which we toured the Back Bone of the Rockies, from New Mexico up to Montana, The Ozarks, and many Texas State Parks!

We moved on to a Vintage 1993 Pace Arrow Motor Home by Fleetwood. This MH is in wonderful shape, looked brand new, and was a blast to camp in...if you can now call it camping:)

Since we have decided to retire and travel fulltime, our current home is a 30' 2011 Forest River Flagstaff Fifth Wheel! With two slideouts, this unit offers a lot more floor space' and room to move around in while we force ourselves to sit around all of those beautiful camping locales:)

We look forward to the many, many miles....the awsome Vistas, and the Great Scenic Highways that our Beautiful country has to offer to us!
